Saturday morning was beautiful The sun was bright, the air chilly, and mist hovered on the surface of the water so it seemed as if the school was surrounded on all sides by a cloud.

Bond had gone for a run, first around campus and then into town. He was just emerging from the fog blanketing the bridge when he spotted Q. He slowed to a jog, then finally stopped near him.

"I can't believe you're awake this early," he said. "I didn't wake you up, did I?"

He hardly wanted to admit it, but he rather liked Q in his bed at night. He liked the lad in his rooms all the time. He enjoyed chatting with him. Enjoyed spending time in silence. And he enjoyed waking up with the weight of Q's limbs on him.

Q relaxed bit by bit, until he was leaning back against Bond.

"It's nice," he said after a moment.

Bond held him closely in the chill night air. The view of the city was spectacular and the sounds were muffled by the height.

"It's even lovelier at night," he said quietly near his ear.

"Like London. Like Rome. Like all the places I'm going to show you. I have such plans for us..." he said ominously.

Such plans. He would shape his partner. Groom him. Train him. Q, he decided, was going to be so much more. He had standards for a partner, after all. Clothes were just a starting point.

Q turned in James' arms, so he could slip his own around the other man.

"Sometimes when I'm with you, it doesn't feel real. Like I'll wake up at any moment..."

Bond smiled and held him close.

"It's real," he assured him.

"...You're mine now."

Q nuzzled at his neck, unable to ignore the temptation to try and slip his hand under the other man's shirt. When they were close, all he wanted to do was touch and indulge in James' presence.

"Tsktsktsk," he scolded softly, smiling Q's hand.

"Don't be hasty, darling," he smiled.

"Enjoy the foreplay. The pool. The clothes. The dinner. And then, when you can't take it anymore, I'll let you thank me properly..." Bond purred lowly in his ear.

Q shivered a little, but reluctantly pulled his hand away.

"Alright," he agreed, though he was sulking just a little.

Bond drew back a bit and smoothed his hands over Q's arms and admired him. His gaze fell on the necklace and he reached out to toy with it.

"I like your collar," he smiled, pleased he'd made the decision. Pleased that those whose opinions he cared about would see it and know the lad was his.

"It feels nice," Q admitted. "Comforting, in a way. ...Is there a reason you don't want me to wear it at school?"

"I don't himk it's appropriate to be too obvious on school grounds. Let's not pretend this is acceptable. You're a student, after all," he said.

"Right, no, of course," Q agreed quietly. "I understand."

"That's a good boy," he smiled and kissed him.

Every kiss still felt like a gift, and Q let it linger before finally drawing away.

"Should we head to the pool?" he asked.

"Good idea," he nodded. "Then we'll come back and get ready. I think I'll have the front desk go pick up the clothes so we can enjoy a shower before getting ready."

Bond stepped back a bit.

"Come along, pet," he said.

He paused at the desk long enough to request some trunks for them both, then showed Q where to change.

"I'll meet you in the water," he said. It was mere minutes before there was the sound of the splash as Bond dove in.

Q went to change, perhaps a little self conscious as he looked himself in the mirror- Only to push those feelings aside to follow after James.

He lingered at the edge of the pool, dipping his foot in the water. It was cool, but not cold, and eventually he sat on the edge to try and prepare himself to jump in.

Bond came shooting toward him underwater and broke the surface at his knees. He wiped water off his face and back through his hair.

"It's not as cold when you're in it," he promised.

Q nodded, and after a moment slipped into the water, moving closer to James as he paddled a little in place.

"That's better," he smiled, putting a foot down to hold himself in place.

"Have you ever made love in the water, Q?" he asked, his eyes dark with desire as he thought of holding him under the surface...

"No," Q said honestly, shaking his head. "Well, a shower..." he amended, since that was true.

He did hope Bond wasn't suggesting they have sex in the pool.

"I'll add that to my list, then," he said. "As a student, I want to make certain you have a well rounded education," he said, taking hold of Q's ass in both hands.

"I'm sure you'll be a perfect instructor," Q replied, trying to ignore the way he stiffened slightly in his swim trunks.

"It's a nice pool," he noted, moving closer and slipping his arms around Bond's shoulders.

"Don't get frisky. There are cameras everywhere," he cautioned, then kissed him affectionately. Suitably appropriate for monitoring, at least.

Q returned the kiss and reluctantly let go.

"What are we to do, hmm? Swim laps?" he teased.

[0_0_7]

"That's what I do," he said. "I'll skip the laps today, though. I rather like having you close like this. You've become terribly affectionate..."

"As have you," Q pointed out, stealing another kiss. "More so than I ever imagined you might be."
