Paris Holiday

There was a 4 day weekend for the school and though the teachers we encouraged to use the time to catch up on grading and such, and the students to use the time toward projects and missing assignments, Bond was having none of that.

He booked a hotel and told the pair to pack for a weekend. Told Q to bring his suit from Cardiff; he knew Harry would know to dress accordingly.

They got to the airport to fly them to Paris. They could have driven, but Bond didn't want to waste valuable time stuck on the M.

He checked the baggage and then joined the pair at the terminal bar.

"We'll be staying at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée," he told them after ordering a scotch. "Lovely view of the tower."

Q was already on his second drink.

"I hate flying. Do we have to fly? What's wrong with the chunnel?" he asked, hand shaking a little.

As keen as he was for this trip, he loathed planes. Nothing made him more nervous.

"At least first class means the scotch will keep flowing," Harry said. "And it's quite a short trip."

Bond arched a brow and reached out to rest his hand on Q's shoulder.

"Don't get drunk, Q. I have plans for us when we land," he said firmly.

Q pouted a little, but they all knew he'd do as Bond said.

"Don't suppose either of you know a good sleep spell?"

Harry glanced at Bond but did not comment, in part because... he was probably right. Getting drunk wouldn't help Q in the end. "Most would make you a bit groggy when we land," he said.

"But I'm sure between the two of us we can figure out something to keep your mind off it," Bond said, smoothing his hand down Q's back all the way to his belt. He smiled pleasantly at Harry.

"We'll be there in no time. We'll be boarding soon. Finish your drinks."

Q downed his fast, hoping the buzz would sooth his nerves. Though the sly touch from James had him shivering just a little.

"Boats," he said. "Boats are nice..."

"We'll be there in a wink, love," Harry said gently to Q.

Sailing to France. Bond tucked that idea away for another time.

"Come along," he said gently and put his arm around Q to guide him to the plane.

Secure in first class, Bond ordered Q another drink, and champagne for he and Harry.

"I have a full weekend planned," he said. "Q, have you ever spent time in Paris?"

"Not really," Q admitted. "School trip once... That's about it."

He sipped his drink, feeling a bit safer sat between the pair. Though he had no idea why. What were they going to do if they suddenly fell out the sky? ...Well, magic, actually, he supposed.

"Paris is a beautiful city," Harry said. "Paris n'est pas une ville, c'est un monde." Paris is not a city, it's a world.

Bond smiled at Harry. He did love when he spoke French.

"He's right," Bond said. "And the world I'll show you, you would never see on a school trip."

Q raised a brow, genuinely curious to hear what James' plans were- But before he could ask they were instructed to prepare for take-off.

Tense, Q reached for Harry's hand.

Harry stroked Q's hand with his thumb, and leaned over him, close enough for Bond to hear as well and said, "Just imagine what James might have in store for you when we arrive."

"I booked time at the Theater," he said, looking at Harry. The club was exclusive and quite secret. Bond was dying to have them both in the dungeon all to himself. Le Théâtre Chochottehad been his gift to Harry the second time he'd taken him to Paris.

"We're seeing a play?" Q asked, flinching a little as the plane shook slightly.

His grip on Harry tightened, and his other hand reached for Bond.

Harry's gaze settled on Bond. "No," he said softly. "Not a play."

"It's a very exclusive club, Q. A very strict club. Tomorrow night. Tonight is dinner at Le Cyan and enjoying the pleasures of the city," he said.

"I'm not sure I'll have much of an appetite after our flight," Q confessed. "...It will be nice to see Paris though."

He wasn't sure about the theater, but he trusted Bond, and Harry didn't seem to mind the idea.

Harry was a touch apprehensive, because the three of them being there together was a significant step for something so delicate. But Harry had... fond memories.

"And it will be very nice to see you enjoy it," said Harry.

"The view from our suite is stunning," he said. "Just wait."

He was quite looking forward to this. He enjoyed his champagne, and the refill, before they touched down. Bond had hired a car rather than be troubled by traffic, as much as he loved to drive. They went directly to the hotel to put away their luggage and freshen up.

The suite was beautiful and spacious. Bond thanked the porter and ordered refreshments brought up. Then he turned to the other men to see what they thought of the rooms.

"Will it do for the weekend?" he asked.

"it's beautiful," Q said, still a little pale from the flight. "Even more stunning than the last."

When they had been together Harry sometimes forgot that Bond came from money. And then moments like this abruptly reminded him. He also imagined that Q had already had a similar reminder, so he didn't ask what the last was.''

"And the view..." Harry strode to the window and threw open the drapes.

Bond smiled softly at them both. He'd hoped to kill two birds with one stone. Remind Harry of the good bits. The best bits. And also impress upon Q that he'd be well taken care of.

"Q, what are your thoughts on food? We could walk over to the tower and have tea beneath it," he suggested. "Or, if you're still under the weather, you could rest."

"Tea would be nice, actually," Q admitted, following after Harry to get a peek at the view himself.
