Things were coming together nicely. Harry's people had moved in and after a rather chaotic week of getting everyone settled, things had evened out. The patrols were bringing back necessary items, but also items of luxury and comfort. They'd secured a truck and furniture, clothing, food, copper, and scrap for burning all poured in.

Bond was in his office, going over a ledger. Q and Tanner kept impeccable records and Bond was on top of keeping everything going. He truly hated the task, but he'd do it because it needed done.

The knock on his office door stole his attention.

"Come," he called.

Behind him, the large windows in the luxury box looked out over the pitch where dozens of solar panels were set to catch the sunlight. THe power was easily enough to keep the stadium lit at night. At night, Wembley was a shining beacon in the dark.

He waved Harry in and rose to welcome him in.

"Do you have any people who could help develop laws and a court?" Bond asked. "I can promise you money of my men have the skills for that."

“Yes,” said Harry. “And I would include Q in that number if he’s willing.”

"Don't you think he has enough to do as quartermaster?" Bond asked, arching a brow.

“Members of parliament often have other jobs,” Harry pointed out.

Bond huffed his defeat out his nose.

"Fine," he said. "And don't worry. In the interim, it's martial law."

He moved closer and rested his hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Right now, everyone needs a strong hand. Whether they want it or not," he continued, his voice dropping low as he moved close.

Harry stood very still. "And what makes you the authority on what people need?"

"Because, Harry. I have a firm grasp on authority around here," he said, squeezing Harry's shoulder a little tighter.

"Not over me," Harry said, his breath catching slightly. "We're partners, remember?"

"Would you like to find some privacy and renegotiate that?" Bond asked soft, low.

"James," he said quietly, and then - "But Q. I can't." It hadn't even occurred to him to be with someone else. And until this moment, to even want to.

"He's fucking us both, Harry," he replied. "And he is the one pushing you and I together."

That was... a fair point.

"Perhaps," Harry said. "But why should I think you actually want me? And not that you're just manipulating me."

Bond took hold Harry's hand and pulled it to the ridge of his cock.

Bond took hold of his elbow to lead him out. In the hall, he rested that hand on his back.

"You're far too suspicious," Bond said unironically.

“Around you?” Harry looked amused. “Not possible. Where are we going?”

"My room," he said. "I'm going to show you what authority looks like."

He looked over at him, then, to see what he thought of that.

Harry felt his mouth go dry. He swallowed hard. “James, I… I don’t know…”

He was definitely having a ‘my mind says no but my body says yes’ moment.

"You have a minute to think it through, Harry. Come along," he said, adding gentle pressure to his back to hurry him along and distract him from thinking too much at all.

Harry’s mind went to that one night they’d been together. Honestly it seemed these days he couldn’t seem to stop thinking back to it. Maybe it wasn’t as good as he remembered, he thought. It was just the proximity now.

Besides, he was so happy with Q. Happy enough that he didn’t even mind sharing, well… not really. Mostly. Just, why did it have to be Bond? Who Harry couldn’t stop thinking about either?

It was like he could feel every nerve ending at the hand at the small of his back.

He did have time during the walk to gather his thoughts though.

As soon as they were behind closed doors Harry grabbed him and kissed him hard. He would not allow Bond to treat him like some wilting flower.

Bond had a large room, the space sectioned by decor. There was a modest kitchen area, a table for dining, an area in the center with a comfortable sofa and chairs.

To the left was his bed.

In this time of rubble and dust, Bond's room was clean, inviting, and in some time Before, expensive. Even his bedding was luxe.

Bond devoured his kisses. He didn't try to overpower him. He didn't mind Harry asserting himself. They both knew their roles. He let the man take what he liked for a bit before he firmly grabbed Harry's cock.
