Q - vacation part 2
Dec. 7th, 2014 07:10 pmThey had island hopped through the Caribbean and today found them on the small island of St. Vincent. White sand beaches, comfortable huts set on the water, palms swaying in the warm ocean breeze. Bond could not have asked for a better spot to relax. He had been swimming and emerged from the water, skin golden from the sun and water beading on his skin and running down in rivulets. He spied Q and smiled at him, walking to meet him.
"I think we should go to the marina and rent a boat," he said. "We could snorkel on the reef. It would be fun. What do you say?"

Date: 2014-12-14 11:21 pm (UTC)He clung to Bond, gripping him tightly and bucking against him in search of a little more friction and pleasure.

Date: 2014-12-14 11:29 pm (UTC)"I need you," he whispered against Q's lips. And then even softer he said, "It frightens me just how much I need you."

Date: 2014-12-14 11:32 pm (UTC)Narrow fingers wandered over skin, moving lower until they were smoothing over Bond's thigh.

Date: 2014-12-14 11:35 pm (UTC)"If you were ever suddenly gone from my life I'd go mad," he said. "I've never had anyone like you in my life, Q and I am frightened of losing you."
He had lost so much, so many people. It wasn't beyond reason that his thoughts turned in that direction.

Date: 2014-12-14 11:48 pm (UTC)"Forever," he agreed, then kissed Q again with more passion, more hunger. His fingers worked in against Q's scalp roughly as Bond rolled him onto his back and worked himself between Q's thighs. He broke the kiss when he had to breathe but only found himself gasping kisses down Q's throat and over his collarbones.

Date: 2014-12-14 11:58 pm (UTC)He couldn't put into words how much that meant to him.
"I love you," he said. "I love you, James Bond. One day we're going to be finished with six and work, and we're going to run away to somewhere even more beautiful than here."

Date: 2014-12-15 12:07 am (UTC)"I love you," he replied, the simplest of truths. He believed Q never lied to him and in return he would never lie to him.
He had an overwhelming urge to taste Q and he stole one more kiss, sucking the man's tongue and moaning as he did, then he tore away and slid down his body, kissing the trail down his chest, over his belly, all the way to his cock.

Date: 2014-12-15 12:27 am (UTC)As if on queue, Bond's mobile began to buzz.

Date: 2014-12-15 12:35 am (UTC)The mobile's quiet buzz was as jarring as an electric shock. And Bond was too accustomed to responding to it. He groaned in disappointment but moved off Q to look at the screen.
"Taro," he said, sitting up. "Hello?"
"James...tell me you've concluded your business," the villain replied.
"I'm in the middle, actually. Waiting for a call back," he said.
"Tragic," Taro said. "Will there be any tearing you away? You and your pet?"
Bond looked at Q, flushed and hard and beautiful. The thought of Taro seeing him turned Bond's stomach.
"I've put him to bed," he said. "I try to keep business and pleasure separate."

Date: 2014-12-15 12:44 am (UTC)"I see, I see-" Taro said quietly, sounding a touch nervous. "I understand you're not keen to share, I could tell at the club- I wasn't intending to ask that of you. In truth I've called because the business deal I told you about has fallen through. I thought, perhaps, we could talk- I have some merchandise I need to unload tonight, and I believe I can offer you a very good deal. You see- I have to leave tomorrow morning, I'll not be available for dinner after all."
Q frowned, then looked at Bond. "Running scared. No doubt hoping to sell to you so he can get out on the first flight," the quartermaster whispered.

Date: 2014-12-15 12:55 am (UTC)"Of course we can meet, Taro," Bond said, rising from the bed and getting back to work. He'd actually spun this scenario as Q had slept, he just hadn't believed it would happen.
"I can come to your bungalow. I'm staying at the Royal Cove as well, actually," the man said. Bond peeked out the window and smiled to himself.
"That would be good. Give me fifteen minutes to clean up and lock up Tyler and then we can discuss business," Bond said.
Taro breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you James. I'll be over shortly."
Bond hung up and looked to Q.
"He's coming here. We need to get ready."

Date: 2014-12-15 01:07 am (UTC)"I want you to stay in the bedroom," he said as he hurried in his preparations. "I need you in my ear, though..."

Date: 2014-12-15 01:10 am (UTC)He was tense, and he flinched at the knock on their door.

Date: 2014-12-15 01:22 am (UTC)"You've brought the whole party," he said, stepping back to let them in. One guard began to pat him down and Bond was glad he'd left the guns elsewhere.
"I can't be too careful, James," Taro said. "What I have is incredibly valuable.
"I'll be perfectly honest, Taro, I'm not all that computer savvy," Bond said casually, leading the group in to sit. He picked out a bottle of good vodka and poured some for both he and Taro. "You're going to have to explain to me what I'm buying."
He knew this would get the man talking and put him at ease. Bond truly wasn't concerned about Taro- he needed to get to a gun so he could take out the security team.

Date: 2014-12-15 01:36 am (UTC)While Q spoke, the security team spread out around the room.
"It is a program that installs itself secretly onto any computer," Taro explained. "You can hide it in anything. A game, a photograph, a pdf... All they have to do is open the file and it will install and being rooting through all their data. Collecting everything they've done, every word they've typed, every site they visited- Passwords, contacts... One click, and it is all yours. Anti virus programs can't see it, it leaves no trail. It works, takes everything, then self destructs, leaving the system completely salvageable."

Date: 2014-12-15 01:48 am (UTC)"Do you have it? A USB, or a disc?" he asked.
Taro pulled out his phone. "It's on this," he said.
Bond smiled and pulled out his own phone.
"How fortunate, because my accounts are on this," he said. "This is a remarkable opportunity for me, Taro. How much are you asking?"
"Forty eight million," the man said. Bond didn't blink.
"Swiss account it is," he said. He punched an app to alert Q to give him banking information, then he sipped his vodka.
Taro leaned forward and watched Bond closely as the agent watched his phone. When it flashed a new screen Bond handed the device to Taro.
"Just enter your account number," he said. "The transfer will be immediate."
Taro began to punch in his account number for Q to capture and Bond got up to walk back to get more vodka.
"There," Taro said.
"It's done?" Bond asked, reaching for his gun.
"It's done," the villain replied.
And Bond opened fire, security first. He took out two before he was rushed. He got off two more rounds but they didn't kill the guards. Only wounded them. They got close enough that Bond had to fight hand to hand. The fifth guard grabbed Taro and began to usher him out. Bond took a shot and hit the mastermind in the leg, then another in the guard- a clean head shot.
The fight was fast and brutal, punches and gunshots both. Bond took a hit that made his teeth clack together and rattled his head, but he shook it off and gave the guard what for. The whole fray only lasted a minute and then Bond was surrounded by dead guards and Taro trying to crawl away.
"Do you want him dead or alive?" Bond asked Q, standing over Taro with his gun at the ready.

Date: 2014-12-15 01:54 am (UTC)Frowning, Q held out his hand- Silently asking for the gun.
He had no idea if Bond would let him take it, but he asked anyway. Though it was hard to tell if he wanted to take the shot himself, or if he was simply demanding Bond stand down.

Date: 2014-12-15 01:56 am (UTC)"No, please," Taro begged. "Keep the program. Keep the money. I'll give you anything..."
no subject
Date: 2014-12-15 02:09 am (UTC)He aimed the gun at Taro, then nodded at the man. "Get up," he demanded, his tone calm and disinterested as he spoke.
"I can't," Taro insisted.
"You can," Q assured him. "It's remarkable, really, the amount of pain the human body can withstand- Though you know all about that, I'm sure. How many times has David told you he can't take any more? ...How many times have you made him anyway?" he asked, not waiting for an answer before speaking again. "Get up, or the next bullet won't kill you, but will remove something I'm certain you're very fond of."
Taro was shaking, and he looked at Bond before slowly pulling himself to his feet.
"Real justice would be to sell you off to some lonely bastard who can barely get it without drawing blood first- But really, who'd waste their money on you, hmm?" Q asked. "You're just a sad old man. You have nothing. No money, no life, nowhere to turn. You are alone."
Taro was shaking, struggling to stay upright. "I have the boy. ...I have David. I'll always have David."
Q laughed at that, the sound bright and genuine, full of mirth. "No- No you don't, and you never will again."
He took the shot then, choosing to take out one of the man's knees, rather than kill him.
Taro fell, and Q gave Bond the gun back. "Let's go get David and then go home. I don't think I like it here anymore."

Date: 2014-12-15 02:15 am (UTC)Bond retrieved another gun and followed Q out to go fetch David from the next bungalow over. He had no illusions of what his role was. As soon as Taro's final body guard opened the door, Bond put a bullet in his head.
"I'm sorry our holiday has gone pear shaped," he said, genuinely apologetic for that. "Let's find the boy."
no subject
Date: 2014-12-15 02:28 am (UTC)"Where's Taro?" the boy asked.
"Gone," Q replied softly. "For good, actually. You're going to come with us, alright? I have a friend who's going to meet us at the airport- He'd like to help you, if you're willing to go with him."
David seemed unsure, glancing nervously at Bond.
"James, why don't you go pack our bags and get the car ready while I get David packed?" Q suggested quietly.
no subject
Date: 2014-12-15 02:36 am (UTC)"James," Taro gasped as he came back in. "James...help me." He coughed up blood and moaned in agony. Bond was quite content to let him suffer and went about the business of packing up the luggage and tech and loading the car.
"James, please don't leave me like this," Taro begged as Bond finished up.
"Why would you think I'd show you any mercy?" Bond asked. "You're reprehensible."
"You bastard! You can't just leave me like this! It's torture..."
"Hardly," Bond replied. "It's no more than you deserve."
But Bond did consider the rate at which the man was dying and he didn't want Taro to call for help or survive- that wouldn't do. So he shot him one more time, this time making sure he'd bleed out a bit faster.
And then he left to collect Q and David to take them to the airport.
