It was a lazy Sunday but Bond was not particularly enjoying it. Every day was lazy these days. He hated being on medical leave. He understood, he did, he was hardly service ready when he couldn't remember anything more than a few years ago. He'd begun to get bits back, recalling the most odd snatches of things. Things from his childhood, from Eton, from the Navy. But it wasn't enough to get him working again.

He sat on the sofa with a glass of scotch and Q's tablet. He was going through the man's blog, looking at the pictures from last year. He was shameless about it, about enjoying the sight of the man he loved. Q was beautiful and Bond loved the different pictures.

He found one he particularly liked and he stopped to study it. Maybe Sunday wouldn't be a waste. He could enjoy his fiance.

"Nearly as lucky as me," Q smiled, kissing him softly on the cheek. "We could go shopping. Perhaps buy something new for my next set of pictures."

"I think I'd like that," he smiled. "Let me get dressed. We'll make a day of it. A bit of shopping, maybe we can have tea out tonight?"

"Sounds lovely. And I know just the places to go," Q smiled. "After tea, you can help me take more photos, hmm?" he suggested.

"Mmm, I would like that very much," Bond purred. He got up and stretched, his body not used to being so lax. He thought he might invest in a gym membership just to keep in shape.

"Won't be a minute," he promised, then ducked into the bedroom to pull on some black slacks, a collared shirt, and a grey jumper over it. Casual. Easy.

Q smiled, lingering in the doorway and watching the double-o as he changed.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" he asked. "I've never seen you look anything other than devastatingly handsome."

"I'm sure I didn't look my best when I returned from China," Bond replied. He fixed his cuffs and smoothed his jumper, then walked up to Q so he could pull him into his arms.

"I am so grateful for you. I don't know how I'd get through this without you. You're so patient. So understanding."

"Stop it. I'm nothing that you wouldn't be for me," Q said softly, smiling and embracing him.

"You look like one of my old English teachers in that jumper- I think I'm a little into this," he smiled.

"Oh? Do you want me to start lecturing on grammar?" he chuckled. "Maybe find a pair of glasses to wear?"

Before he could get the keys he had to adjust himself to accommodate his erection. It would fade but for the moment it was rather obvious. Once that was sorted he got the keys and his jacket and waited by the door for Q.

The car was a welcome sight- he loved this car like a child, almost. Or how he imagined loving a child. Once they were settled inside he looked over to Q.

"You'll have to give me directions since you know where we're going," he said, starting her up.

Bond previewed the route and then set out. It wasn't a long drive at all and he found parking right away.

"Where should we eat?" he asked as he got out and looked to the door. He waited for Q, though, rather than charging in on his own.

"By the time we're done shopping, you might just want take out," Q smirked. "Come along, now."

He led the way into the store, the windows tinted and the outside drab- But the inside was stunning. there were racks and racks of over the top undergarments in every shape, style and size. All of it unisex, all of it well designed.

"So- Where should we start?" he asked. "Shorts, briefs- Thongs?"

"Thongs," he agreed, looking around and fondling different pairs as they walked through the racks. There was a table and he paused, holding up a lovely burgundy satin pair. He checked the size, then took them along, deciding Q needed them.
