They only stayed away for a couple days and then came back to the city. Bond insisted Q see a specialist and start physio right away to recover. The young man went, demanding to be unescorted and came hime in new bandages. The next day he'd left early and hadn't come back until late and had gone straight to bed with some pain medication.

The next morning Bond rose early and showered and shaved, then brewed coffee. When he went into wake Q the man was playing on his phone, only surface gauze on the back of his hand.

"What the bloody..." he said.

"Hardly had a choice. My hand needed repairing," Q huffed, grinning again and trying to pull away.

He didn't get far though, and eventually he flopped against Bond's legs.

"You should make it up to me," Bond said. He worked his fingers into Q's hair again, scratching lightly. "You should feed me."

"Mmm, alright," Q purred, nodding a little. "You have to let go then, double-o seven and tell me what you'd like."

"First...come here," he said. "Out of your bed and onto my lap. Yes, that will do nicely," Bond smiled. "Cheese first, I think."

Q picked up the cheese and crawled onto Bond's lap. It was hard with his ankles bound, but he managed.

He offered Bond a cube of cheese, then took one for himself, looking happy and content as he settled in.

Bond savored the bite, his arms around Q to keep him steady.

"I could get used to this. I like your independence...but I like you like this, too."

"Oh, you'd get bored of it I think," Q said, offering Bond another bite. "You like a challenge after all."

Bond's tongue flicked against Q's fingertips and he took the bite with a smile.

"Maybe. Probably. But it makes for a nice day, doesn't it?" he replied, playing with the rope around Q's wrists.

Humming in agreement, Q nodded and nuzzled Bond's neck.

"I very much like being all yours. Like a favoured possession," he murmured, nipping gently at soft skin.

"My most favoured," Bond said softly, tilting his head so Q could get into his neck easier.

"That feels so good," he said then. "I like you like this. Tender and affectionate...it's easy to treasure you."

"Am I not always?" Q asked, the question genuine, even though it was whispered against skin. "I never mean to be cold or distant."

"I know. But sometimes I can tell I'm not as interesting as cybernetics or timepieces..." Bond replied.

"Want me to upgrade you, give you a fighting chance against my other interests?" he asked with a grin, nipping at his jaw.

Bond closed his eyes and tilted his chin up so he could focus on Q's teeth. The young man could take him apart with his mouth, words and kisses alike.

"I'm beyond repair," he replied.

"Shut up, you're perfect," Q insisted softly. "A perfect specimen- The ultimate killing machine."

Bond took Q's face in both hands and pulled him close to kiss him.

"The best weapon in your arsenal?" he asked, then kissed the man lightly.

"Absolutely," Q whispered into the kiss.

"Q," Bond whispered, kissing him harder. He sucked at Q's lips slowly, savoring the taste of him. One hand left his face so he could wind the arm round his waist to keep him close and secure.

"Can I taste you, double-o seven?" Q asked between kisses. "I'd very much like to see if I can make you come again- Since I so rudely abandoned you before."

"I'd love that but I didn't want to presume," he replied softly. He wasn't being careful, exactly, but he was quite mindful of what Q had gone through. It hadn't entered his mind to ask if Q would...he knew when the man wanted to he'd make it known.

"I'm alright," Q promised. "I'd tell you if I wasn't."

Smiling he tried to wiggle off the other man's lap, but he needed help getting down again.

"If that's what you want you'll have to work for it," Bond said, then immediately helped him down. He shifted in his seat but if Q wanted him free he'd have to do it himself.

Q huffed as he settled on his knees, struggling to free Bond's erection with his hands bound.

"You could cooperate a little," he said, giving James' thigh a little pinch. "Should tie you up for a bit and watch you struggle," he muttered- though he knew bond didn't like being helpless. Q had tested the waters in the past, and Bond hadn't seemed keen at all.

"I'm not particularly good at that," Bond reminded him...and then he paused. "But I'm game to try. SO long as you promise to not be disappointed if it goes sideways."

"What if it was just your hands- Just while I suck you," Q suggested. "I'll untie you right after."
