They only stayed away for a couple days and then came back to the city. Bond insisted Q see a specialist and start physio right away to recover. The young man went, demanding to be unescorted and came hime in new bandages. The next day he'd left early and hadn't come back until late and had gone straight to bed with some pain medication.

The next morning Bond rose early and showered and shaved, then brewed coffee. When he went into wake Q the man was playing on his phone, only surface gauze on the back of his hand.

Bond took up the fine, small tools and set to work, thinking of it not as Q's hand but as any other piece of tech. He carefully fixed the wire, a bit at first and made Q test and then just a bit more.

"I think that's got it," he said. "This is really quite clever."

He looked at his phone again, then sighed.

"Right, my blog. ...I've lost 50 followers over the past few weeks. I need to post something good- I have an idea, but I'll need your help."

Because of course, though the'd been abducted and damaged his hand, what Q was choosing to fixate on was the blog he kept- Mostly for Bond, if he was honest. Not that he was likely to admit it.

He wet his lips and smiled, fussing a moment with the button of Q's pyjamas.

"I'm game," he replied. "Tell me what you've got planned."

"Stop undressing me," Q laughed. "I intend to be dressed- At least to start. I've had a lot of requests to be fully dressed, but bound. That's where you come in, double-o seven. It needs to look convincing. I assume it's something you can manage, yes?" he smiled.

"I've set up the lighting and the camera in the bedroom."

The blog had, once upon a time, just been a place for Q to post faceless photos of himself- A quiet way of expressing himself without making himself seen or heard when anonymity was such a vital part of his work. ...Eventually he'd decided to share it with Bond, and from there it had grown into a perversion they shared and bonded over.

He picked it up and thought for a moment of how Q had been bound to the chair in that room. He wouldn't do that, not at all.

"Get on the bed," he said as he moved to the camera. "I'll tell you when you're properly in the shot."

Q nodded, climbing carefully onto the bed, mindful of his healing hand as he settled in. He'd done this so many times, and he curled one leg up slightly as he settled in on his side, aware of how he looked when he folded himself up in certain ways.

"I don't want to be bound to the bed itself," he noted. "I'd rather have some freedom to move."

He often got a bit bossy when they worked together like this, taking the lead and making demands.

"Freedom to struggle, you mean," Bond countered, making sure Q was in the shot and then moving to him. He uncoiled the rope and began to tie, bending Q's knees and binding thigh to shin. Q huffed at being corrected, but went still as Bond set to work.

"That knot's far too low," he said, getting bossy again. "And you've let it slip too low on my thigh, see?"

"I know how to tie people up, Q," Bond snapped. He pushed Q's other leg, looped the rope under his arse, and began to tie up the other leg in the same manner.

Bond finished off his leg then found a tie and held it up. He smirked at Q and pressed it to his mouth and then in like a bit, only to tie it around Q's head. It hardly shut him up- made him garbled but no less talkative.

"I'm not rusty," he said as he unbuttoned the bottom two buttons to expose Q's navel.

"The gag is pointless, no one can see my face," Q huffed. Though it sounded more like gibberish. Petulant and sulking gibberish at that.

Still, Q tested the bonds, wriggling a bit and then doing his best to pose- His gaze drifting to Bond to judge how he was doing based on the double-o's expression.

Bond wet his lips again, eyes raking over Q. He looked like a man starving who had been shown the a la carte.

"Spread your knees wider," he said. "And tuck your hands behind as if they're tied to."

And he moved behind the camera to make sure he was in the shot. There was something about watching Q through the viewfinder that aroused him so much.
