Bond was on edge with Hotchner here and had very nearly told Q not to come. But after his time with Leo, he needed his Monday night with the lad.

He waited in his rooms dressed in slacks and a shirt, his tie hanging loosely around his neck. He'd poured himself a scotch, then poured another as he sat facing the door.

And he waited.

Q moved closer, then settled on his knees at Bond's feet.

That smile was unsettling, But Q did his best to seem unbothered.

Bond sat forward a bit and stroked Q's hair. He'd planned to make him cry, but now he had Harry on his mind.

"Does he want you to stop seeing me?" he asked after a moment.

"No. He understands what I get from this," Q said softly, leaning into the touch.

"And what do you get, pet?" he asked, his touch firm, but almost loving.

[cuppa_q]

"Structure, rules," Q said quietly. "...Pain."

He swallowed hard and looked away.

Bond moved from his hair to his cheek and touched him tenderly.

"And you're happy with our arrangement?" he asked.

"I am," Q said honestly.

Part of him wanted something more, yes, but- Well, he wasn't sure what 'more' even was.

"Good," he said, hooking Q's chin with his knuckle to lift his gaze.

"Because I am very happy with you," he said softly.

Q closed his eyes at that and leaned into the touch even more.

It felt so good to be wanted by the other man.

Just knowing he was competing with Harry for Q's attention made him want to win. To have the lad completely. Odd, he thought, because he'd not gone into this with any intention of caring about Q.

And yet.

"Come here," he said, giving him a tug as he shifted to be able to pull Q into his lap.

Moving with him, Q settled on his lap, getting comfortable and settling against him.

"You're not cross with me?" he asked.

"Don't be ridiculous. I'm not cross with you," he said, enjoying the weight of him against his chest. Bond rubbed his back slowly and thought a moment, then looked at Q.

"I'm quite fond of you, Q," he admitted.

Q seemed surprised by that, looking startled, then settling against Bond again.

"I'm fond of you too, Sir," he admitted softly.

Bond nuzzled in and smelled his hair, then laid a kiss there. His hand crept up and he took hold of the back of Q's neck in a tight grip.

"Kiss me," he demanded.

Q let out a soft gasp at the hold on his neck, but leaned in to kiss Bond slowly. He took his time, tasting the man's lower lip and moaning into his mouth.

Bond didn't kiss him back. He remained still and steady as Q's lips and tongue begged him for some sort of response. His hold remained firm, keeping him close.

When Bond didn't return the kiss, Q grew a bit desperate- Then seemed to pull himself together, slowly withdrawing. He wouldn't beg for affection.

Bond was smiling when Q drew back.

"Nicely done," he praised. releasing his hold a little. But then he clamped tight again.

"Now it's my turn," Bond said and pulled him in to kiss him savagely.

Q made a startled sound, but eventually eased into it, letting Bond claim his mouth as his own.

The kiss gentled a fraction as Bond let go of his neck and scratched his nails sharply down his back.

"My god, your tongue is sweet," he said softly.

Q didn't know what to say to that, so he didn't speak. Instead he kissed Bond again, softer this time. Slower.

Bond savoured the taste of him, clutching and pulling at him.

"This is dangerous, pet," he whispered, kissing him with genuine care.

Exceptionally dangerous. Q was supposed to be a plaything, not someone he valued. And yet, here he was, kissing him and falling bit by bit for the young man.

"Isn't that the point?" Q asked quietly.

[0_0_7]

"Not like this," he said and gave in to temptation and cradled Q's face to kiss him.

He kissed him with care and affection, daring to open up that fraction to someone. He didn't know why, but he was certain he could trust Q. The lad had already proven himself, many times.

Q shivered a little, then groaned into the kiss.

His heart fluttered and he felt himself falling just a bit. ...Maybe more than a bit.
